Norm Honey — Director of Property Management
Born and bred in western New South Wales, Norm Honey comes from a background of private business ownership and was also previously involved in the motor industry. Norm joined Independent Property Group in 1990 and his outstanding sales and organisational skills saw him rise quickly in the company.
After some years overseeing the growth and success of Independent's Woden office as Branch Manager, he took on a new challenge in 2003 when he became Branch Manager at Independent's busy Belconnen office.
After many years of sales success, Norm moved to becoming Independent's Director of Property Management and oversaw the restructure of the company's Property Management offices into one central team - forming the biggest rental management team in Canberra of thirty plus staff.
Norm's restructuring work has resulted in greatly improved service to Property Management clients through the introduction of new procedures, innovations and systems. Setting up teams of property managers has assured clients of high quality, consistent service that leads the Canberra Industry.
Approaching twenty years experience in the real estate industry, Norm has worked closely in all aspects of property and is perfectly positioned to provide leadership and mentorship to the Property Management team. His extensive sales experience gives him a unique ability to balance the needs of both owners and tenants to produce win-win situations for all involved.
